George's Georgian Bay

A travel guide with a personal touch!

Tobermory, located at the northern tip of the Bruce peninsula, is unique in that it is more of a spring-to-autumn community - very busy in the warm summer months - than it is a winter place. Although. there are still things to do there in the wintertime. During the warmer months, the "Chi-Cheemaun" ferry sails from Tobermory to South Baymouth, Manitoulin Island, a number of times a day. The shoreline in the Tobermory area is fascinating. Be sure to visit Bruce Peninsula National Park, just south of Tobermory.
