Roger Rabbit restaurant in Espanola is a family-type diner which operates just off the main street (Highway 6). When you see the beer store, looking northeast along Park Street, you will see Roger Rabit on the right-hand side. There are other restaurants in Espanola including McDonald's and Tim Horton's.
The Pinewood Inn, which is on Highway 6 in downtown Espanola, offers guests an excellent brochure which includes a map and information about Espanola. It's a free document and very handy to have. Included in the text is a bit of a story about how Espanola got its name.
There are other places to find accommodation in Espanola, and also just north of Espanola where Highway 6 joins Highway 17.
The photograph above and the photograph below show two views of the Domtar pulp and paper mill at Espanola, Ontario. Domtar is a world-wide company and operates this mill under strict environmental guidelines. What you see rising above the mill is not smoke, it is steam. The mill is located adjacent to the Spanish River.
